Sad week

Tracie lost her baby and Nathan had a terrible flue. There was a 30th birthday party for Tracie on Friday night. Went for a little while as we had Nathan for the night. Got to rock and hug him alot - we both like that!
Started a new log cabin scarp quilt and am getting into it after not being very interested in quilting all winter. Want to get two quilt tops done so that I can take them to PEI with me in June and do them on my quilting frame that is there. Still knitting socks like crazy.
Will try once again to finish some old projects or give them away, actually that sounds like a better idea!

Thought if I type it I will do it. curtain day today.....
finished Spring Twist and now on the Cathedral socks but have changed the pattern so much
that I had to type it out in order to remember it. They are looking very good though. Doing them inFleece Artist (one of my favourite yarns) on Magic loop.
Saw Tracie yesterday for her 30th birthday! Nathan has a cold - still adorable with a cold.
Time to get busy (sort of).

frogging and more frogging

Decided against the April mystery socks - just don't like them. Too many little cables, hurts my bursitis so that one will be frogged. Still doing the Jeanie Townsend’s Spring Twist Socks. Not really liking that one either again too many little cables. Will consider frogging and doing Monkeys are BFF socks by Cookie A. I have some beautiful Lorna's Lace Shepard yarn that needs knitting as it has marinated in the basket long enough. Monkeys would look beautiful in that yarn.
Will give Velma my Doublin Bay Socks today at the fashion show which Sharon is modelling in for the Alzheimer's society.
Now on to my other projects - put the two sweaters away, that's not happening. Finished Tracie's slippers, finished cashmere booties and will attempt a bonnet next week.
Made Nathan 3 pairs of shorts and one pair of striped pants with NATE on the pocket. He looks adorable in them, of course.
Today I need to make curtains for the new windows. Ugh hate making curtains!

Still going with the Monk's blog.
Made 3 pairs of shorts today for Nathan, one shirt but it is way to girly so that is no good.
Now I will finish knitting socks so I can get ready for the April Mystery Sock and
the April sock knit along. What am I going to do with all these socks.

I'm thinking I'm not really a blog person. Nothing much to say and I don't like talking for no reason. Might just have a Monks blog. Wonder how that will work......
